Planting Instructions:
Soak these seeds in warm water overnight and rub one side lightly with sandpaper to soften the hard coating on them, then cold stratify for 30 days before sowing. Plant the seed just below the surface of the soil in early spring. Germination usually occurs within 7-14 days of maintaining a light moisture level in the soil. In order for seedlings to become established, they need regular watering. A mature plant can tolerate some drought in areas with poor soil or sand, as long as it receives occasional watering during extremely dry conditions.
