Description:
As blue as the summer sky, this classic heirloom variety is a heavenly choice. This beautiful climbing vine will scale any arbor, fence or trellis that is nearby. This annual is very easy to grow and has a showy reward for those who grow it. If you don't have a green thumb, don't fear... you'll have no trouble with these. Morning glory is so named because the flowers open in the cool of morning, then close when it gets too hot. On cloudy days and in the fall, the blossoms stay open all day.
Planting Instructions:
In warm climates, seeds can be direct sown in the spring as soon as the soil reaches a temperature of 7-=85°. For faster germination, nice the seed coat with a sharp knife or soak the seeds in warm water overnight. In cooler climates, the seeds can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost of the spring. Plant the nicked seed seeds 1/4" deep and keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy until germination. Transplant as soon as possible after germinate since the resent root disturbance once the chance of frost has passed and the temps are at least 65°.
