These Asters, which were given their moniker because of their similarity to the white heath of the English moors, like arid, stony grasslands or pastures. Because of its rapid growth, it can quickly fill in large areas with pristine white bushes. The natives employed this plant in sweat lodges because it generates a revitalizing herbal vapor.

Planting Instructions:
Direct sow the seed in late fall or early spring, planting it just on the surface and compressing the soil slightly and watering once. To start the seeds indoors, sow it in a flat keeping the soil evenly moist and at temperature 65-70° until germination. Transplant the seedlings after the last frost of spring.
